Ticket prices to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are on the rise.  In fact, in 2016 party tickets for adults cost anywhere from $86-$99.  In 2015, they were a mere $74-$82 for adults.  I don’t know about you, but this increase seems a bit drastic to me.

 

 

 

Let’s look at the numbers….

A one day ticket for the Magic Kingdom in November is $110.  On this particular day, if you arrive for rope drop and stay at the Magic Kingdom until it closes at 7pm, you would be in the Magic Kingdom for ten hours.  Do the math and it’s $11/hour.  For a party, if you arrive at 4pm and stay until it closes at midnight, that’s eight hours.  With a party ticket costing as low as $86, that is $10.75/hour.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration!

The new castle stage show for 2016 is Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.  This brand new show features a cast of a variety of characters and includes singing and dancing.

 

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Mickey and Minnie kick start this festive parade full of all-things-Christmas.  Nothing beats watching Santa make his way down Main Street.  If nothing else gets you in the Christmas spirit, this will!

 

 

Holiday Wishes!

Disney doesn’t skimp out on their nighttime entertainment and if you think Wishes is a must-do, then you’ll definitely want to check out Holiday Wishes.

 

 

Food!

In addition to some of your favorite Magic Kingdom eats, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies can be found in various locations across the Magic Kingdom.  This just adds to the fun!

 

Overal Ambience

Just being at MVMCP is magical.  The holiday spirit is EVERYWHERE!  Walking down Main Street all decorated for the holidays with snow falling is truly magical.

 

Do I think MVMCP is worth it??  Absolutely yes!  If you are fortunate to be at Disney during this time of year, go for it!  You won’t be disappointed.
