So we all know that there are some amazing dining options at Walt Disney World. There are also some awe inspiring resorts on property. Resort hopping is completely allowed at Walt Disney World and can be a great opportunity to experience new snacks. These are my all time top three favorite snacks at Walt Disney World Resorts

#3: Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter
Let me preface this by saying the currently the quick service dining option at French Quarter is closed for refurbishment. Let me also say that I’ve had beignets at several restaurants throughout the U.S., including the world-renowned Cafe Du Monde, and French Quarter is just as good at Cafe Du Monde. Not only are the beignets extremely tasty, but the atmosphere is great too. I like to find a table outdoors and listen to the authentic French Quarter music that is piped in throughout the resort. Love it!

#2: Dole Whip at the Polynesian Village Resort
Yes, you can get this at the Magic Kingdom, but there’s something more relaxing about arriving at Pineapple Lanai, ordering a Dole Whip, and having an endless array of locations to enjoy it. The Polynesian is much more relaxing than the Magic Kingdom, plus there is plenty of seating at the Pineapple Lanai, the lobby, or the marina to enjoy it. Better yet, think about ending your day at the parks by getting a Dole Whip and then finding a spot to watch Wishes from the Polynesian.
#1: Zebra Domes at Animal Kingdom Lodge
This is my most recent snack discovery. I had heard about these for quite awhile, but since they are sold exclusively at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I never really got around to it. That was until I had the most amazing stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village. While staying there, we got a four pack of these at Jahori Treasures (the shop at Kidani Village) EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. You can also get them at Boma and the Mara. While I cannot confirm this, you might be able to get them at the shop at Jambo House. In case you’re wondering exactly a zebra dome is, it’s essentially Amaretto mousse covered in white chocolate. They are served cold and I would recommend eating them with a fork. Enjoy!
